First Pakistani Pilgrims Depart for Saudi Arabia via Makkah Route Initiative: Seamless Hajj Experience
A group of Pakistani pilgrims began their journey to Saudi Arabia for Hajj on Thursday from Karachi's Jinnah International Airport.
They were part of the Makkah Route Initiative, which is a streamlined departure process under Saudi Vision 2030's Pilgrim Experience Program.
The initiative simplifies the Hajj experience by allowing pilgrims to complete procedures such as electronic visa issuance, biometric data collection, and health requirement verification before leaving their home country.
The Saudi Ministry of Interior launched this initiative to enhance the overall Hajj experience.
Saudi Arabia organizes the handling of pilgrims' luggage during Hajj to ensure a smooth experience.
Upon arrival at Prince Mohammad bin Abdulaziz International Airport in Madinah, pilgrims are transported to their accommodations in Makkah and Madinah, and their luggage is delivered directly to them by service agencies.
This initiative is part of Saudi Arabia's efforts to enhance the Hajj journey by making it more comfortable and organized.
