European Chamber of Commerce in Saudi Arabia Inaugurated: Boosting Business Ties and Economic Cooperation between EU and Saudi Arabia
The European Chamber of Commerce in Saudi Arabia (ECCKSA) was officially inaugurated in Riyadh on Wednesday.
The launch was attended by notable figures such as Ibrahim Al-Mubarak, assistant minister of investment, Luigi Di Maio, EU special representative for the Gulf, and Christophe Farnaud, the EU ambassador to Saudi Arabia, Oman, and Bahrain.
The chamber aims to promote business cooperation, trade, and investment, and help align regulatory frameworks between the EU and Saudi Arabia.
The establishment of ECCKSA is a significant move in enhancing economic ties between the EU and the Kingdom, in line with the EU-Gulf Cooperation Council strategic partnership announced in May 2022.
Di Maio described the ECCKSA as an essential new chapter in the partnership between the EU and Saudi Arabia.
