In light of this, the directorate emphasizes the need for individuals to remain in secure locations, particularly avoiding low-lying areas and valleys that may be susceptible to flooding.
Furthermore, swimming in these regions is strongly discouraged.
The directive encourages adherence to safety instructions disseminated via both traditional media outlets and social media platforms.
Regions such as Makkah are expected to endure moderate to heavy rainfall, which could lead to flash floods, hailstorms, and strong winds capable of stirring dust and sand.
Additionally, Jazan, Asir, and Al-Baha provinces are predicted to experience similar conditions with varying intensities of precipitation.
