(Central Station) Bus passenger who missed a stop swears at driver
A woman repeatedly swore at a KMB bus driver for not letting her off immediately after she missed a stop, according to a video that went viral online.
The passenger wanted to be let off, but the driver refused, saying she had to wait till the next stop. “How do I know where the next stop is? Open the door! I am in a rush!” she shouted.
The driver ignored her and continued the journey, and she got even more emotional, even making a threat to call the police: “Let me out! I will call the police! I will make a complaint against you at KMB!”
She finally disembarked at Gascoigne Road bus stop, which is in between Yau Ma Tei and Jordan MTR stations.“This stop is so far away, how dare you?" she complained. “How can I walk back to Yau Ma Tei?”
Netizens said they would have asked the passenger to be quiet, as her shouting affected the driver and could cause an accident. They also said the driver may have let her off out of sympathy if hadn't had such a bad attitude.
