Recent heavy rains further weakened the building, ultimately causing it to collapse on Friday afternoon.
Rescue teams worked tirelessly through the night to search for survivors and recover bodies from the debris.
Despite the challenging circumstances, no additional injuries were reported after 3 p.m. local time (1000 GMT) on Friday, with the number of injured remaining at nine.
The authorities are currently investigating the cause of this tragic accident.
