Alswaha and Syrian Minister Emphasize Youth Empowerment in Building a Thriving Digital Economy
Ministers Discuss Strategic Partnerships, Digital Infrastructure, Innovation, and Entrepreneurship
Riyadh — The Minister of Communications and Information Technology of Saudi Arabia, Abdullah Alswaha, received his Syrian counterpart, Abdulsalam Haykal, in Riyadh on Sunday.
This meeting took place as part of Haykal's visit to the Kingdom with a high-level delegation, attending the Global Symposium for Regulators (GSR25) hosted by Riyadh.The focus of their discussions was on strengthening strategic technical partnerships and advancing joint initiatives related to digital infrastructure, innovation, and entrepreneurship.
Both ministers also highlighted the importance of empowering youth in order to contribute to building a robust digital economy that supports sustainable development.Attending the meeting were Mohammed Abu Nayan, Chairman of the Saudi-Syrian Businessmen Council, as well as senior officials and executives from various sectors within the Saudi digital economy, space, and innovation ecosystem.
