UnifyApps Secures $50 Million in Series B Funding to Enhance Enterprise AI Platform and Strengthen Gulf Presence

The investment will support the development of UnifyApps' enterprise platform aimed at streamlining AI implementation across corporate systems, while expanding its footprint in the Gulf region.
UnifyApps has recently announced a significant Series B funding round of $50 million to accelerate the advancement of its enterprise platform designed to simplify the integration of Artificial Intelligence (AI) within corporate systems.

This development comes at a pivotal moment as the Gulf region witnesses an upsurge in AI investments and initiatives.

The funding, spearheaded by WestBridge Capital with participation from ICONIQ, brings UnifyApps' total secured funding to $81 million.

The company is currently expanding its teams in the Gulf, responding to the growing demand for AI solutions driven by government-led strategies such as the UAE's AI Strategy 2031 and Saudi Arabia's National Strategy for Data & AI (NSDAI).

Ragy Thomas, an industry veteran and early investor, has been appointed as Chairman and Co-CEO of UnifyApps, alongside its CEO Pavitar Singh.

Thomas commented on the strategic importance of AI in the Gulf region, stating that every software workflow and core business process will be revolutionized with AI at their core, aligning with national plans aimed at future growth.

UnifyApps addresses a critical challenge faced by enterprises: scaling generative AI projects beyond small-scale pilots.

This challenge is often due to the inability of large language models to access fragmented systems of record and internal knowledge sources, as well as a lack of integration with workplace systems where tasks are executed.

Consequently, companies end up accumulating multiple disconnected AI applications that demand separate integrations, increasing both cost and complexity.

The company's platform is marketed as an 'Enterprise Operating System for AI,' designed to unify data sources, business processes, and AI models in a single, cohesive system.

By doing so, UnifyApps aims to empower enterprises across the Gulf to execute their AI strategies effectively and efficiently.
