UK Investors Encouraged to Enter Saudi Sports Market
UK investors have been invited to explore opportunities in Saudi Arabia’s sports sector, projected to be valued at one-dollar 22.38 billion by 2030. Key industry figures highlighted the significant growth potential and existing market value of one-dollar 8 billion. The event underscored opportunities in technology, infrastructure, and esports investments.

Speaking at the UK-Saudi Sports Investment and Innovation Forum in London, Basim Ibrahim, the Director of Sports Sector Investment Development at the Ministry of Investment, shared that the current market value is around SR30 billion.
Organized by the Saudi Chambers of Commerce and the Saudi British Joint Business Council, the forum was part of the UK-Saudi Sustainable Infrastructure Summit.
Notable speakers included Turki Al-Fawzan, CEO of the Saudi Electronic Sports Federation, who highlighted that 67 percent of Saudi citizens enjoy electronic sports, and Mohammed El-Nemer, vice chairman of the Saudi British Joint Business Council, who reported an annual growth rate of 12 percent in the sports sector between 2018 and 2023.
The event underscored opportunities in various sports investments, with discussions covering technology, infrastructure, esports, and quality of life initiatives.
