The Kremlin has announced its demands for ending the war in Ukraine
While Russia’s demands that Ukraine will recognize Crimea as part of Russia, recognise the eastern separatist regions as independent and guarantee it won't join NATO sounds ok for me, Russia demand that Ukraine will never join the EU is something that Ukraine should never agree, and Moscow should never demand. The EU don’t want Ukraine anyway, but if one day yes, why not? That’s illegitimate condition to stop the war.
The Kremlin has announced its 3 demands for ending the war in Ukraine:
• Ukraine must change its constitution to guarantee it won't join any "blocs", i.e. NATO + EU.
• Must recognise Crimea as part of Russia.
• Must recognise the eastern separatist regions as independent.
Russia has the right to protect their security, but not to control Ukraine political system, or Ukraine desire to join the EU, and/or NATO, as long as everybody, including NATO agree that Russia has the natural right to do anything to prevent NATO and Ukraine from risking its border with Russia.
