SDAIA launches the second edition of NEOM Challenge during the Global AI Summit

Saudi Data & AI Authority (SDAIA) has launched the second edition of NEOM AI Challenge in partnership with NEOM, targeting local and international small to medium-sized enterprises and entrepreneurs across the whole world and propelling them to new horizons in the world of innovation.

The competition aims at finding solutions to the challenges faced by NEOM using artificial intelligence technologies, across three tracks: AI in decision-making, AI adaptive inspection, and machine-executable legislation to speed up procedures and keep pace with rapid local developments.

Through the launch of NEOM Challenge, one of the initiatives of the Global AI Summit, SDAIA aims to promote innovations, encourage creators, and build national and international capacities, in addition to developing talented human resources.

SDAIA pointed out that registering as an SME or entrepreneur is required to join the challenge. In addition, small enterprises must have 6 to 49 full-time employees with SR3 to 40 million annual revenues, while medium enterprises must have 50 to 249 full-time employees and SR40 to 200 million annual revenues. And for entrepreneurs, the registration requires each team to have between 2 to 5 members.

The winners of each track will receive executive contracts with NEOM worth SR500,000 (totaling SR1.5 million). SDAIA invites those wishing to join, and learn more about the challenge, to visit the link;
