The London-based company reported that Saudia operated 16,733 flights during this period, boasting a remarkable 91.33% on-time arrival rate and a 90.69% on-time departure rate, representing a significant increase of 2.41% compared to May's rates of 89.18% and 87.77%, respectively.
This achievement underscores Saudi Arabia's Vision 2030 initiative to transform the nation into a global aviation hub.
By investing in infrastructure expansion and promoting private sector participation, Saudia aims to attract 330 million passengers annually by 2030, connecting over 250 destinations worldwide and handling 4.5 million tons of air cargo.
The airline's operational excellence is attributed to the seamless coordination across all sectors and subsidiaries within the group, as per Ibrahim Al-Omar, director general of Saudia Group.
This performance marks Saudia's second time in 2025 leading global rankings for both arrival and departure punctuality, following a similar accomplishment in March.
In June 2024, Saudia had also secured the top position with on-time rates of 88.22% for arrivals and 88.73% for departures across its network.
