Riyadh, Saudi Arabia: The Mawhiba Academic Enrichment Program is ongoing in Yanbu Industrial City on the Red Sea coast.
Implemented by the King Abdulaziz and His Companions Foundation for Giftedness and Creativity (Mawhiba), this program specifically targets gifted female students across various scientific and cognitive disciplines.
According to SPA, the initiative forms part of Mawhiba's broader mission to support both male and female talents by incorporating specialized scientific content, practical applications, and personal and leadership development within an inspiring educational framework.The program currently engages approximately 95 female participants who are delving into diverse tracks such as inventions, chemistry, and engineering design.
These students are also honing their thinking, innovation, and entrepreneurship skills under the guidance of a select group of qualified female trainers.
The curriculum is designed to enrich scientific knowledge while fostering critical creative abilities.Activities within the program encompass educational visits, hands-on workshops, and mini exhibitions, facilitating interactive engagement between students and parents.
