The "Maa Al Salama" campaign was launched by the Saudi Ministry of Health to encourage people to continue practicing awareness and safety in their daily lives, following the end of COVID-19 as a global health emergency and the lifting of precautionary measures for travel in the Kingdom.
The ministry emphasized that the end of the pandemic does not mean an end to
COVID-19 as a health threat, particularly for vulnerable groups such as the elderly and those with chronic diseases.
The campaign stressed the importance of maintaining personal hygiene, practicing sneezing etiquette, and adhering to precautionary measures, especially in the event of viral infections.
Saudi health authorities praised the role of Saudi society in confronting the pandemic through their vigilance,
vaccine uptake, and dedication to following precautions.
