Saudi Arabia to Host Eighth Global Health Exhibition in Riyadh
The four-day event aims to accelerate healthcare sector transformation and position Saudi Arabia as a global hub for health innovation and investment.
RIYADH: The eighth annual Global Health Exhibition is set to take place from October 27 to 30 at the Riyadh Exhibition and Convention Center, according to the Ministry of Health.
The event, themed "Invest in Health," aims to support the acceleration of the Kingdom's healthcare sector transformation as per the Vision 2030 development plan.
This initiative also serves to strengthen Saudi Arabia's position in the global health innovation and investment arena.
The exhibition will provide a platform for leaders, investors, and innovators from the global health sector to explore partnership opportunities and showcase the latest advancements in healthcare technology.
This includes developments in telemedicine, digital health, and preventative care.
The event organizers hope this year's Global Health Exhibition will further bolster momentum within Saudi Arabia's rapidly evolving health sector, building on last year's success which drew over 100,000 visitors from 80 countries who signed deals worth more than SR50 billion ($13.3 billion).
The event also underscores the Kingdom's increasing influence on the global health stage.
Recent initiatives by Saudi Arabia, such as the National Biotechnology Strategy and its hosting of international conferences like the Fourth Global High-Level Ministerial Conference on Antimicrobial Resistance in November 2024, highlight the nation's commitment to shaping future healthcare.
The upcoming 2nd annual CPHI Middle East pharmaceutical expo scheduled for December further illustrates this commitment.
The exhibition aims to be a key platform for fostering collaborations and driving investment in technologies and initiatives that promote healthier, more sustainable communities both regionally and globally.
