Saudi Arabia Hands Over Housing Units to Tunisian Families
The Kingdom of Saudi Arabia has provided 129 housing units to low-income families in Tunisia through a social housing program.
The handover ceremony took place on Monday, with the presence of Abdulaziz bin Ali Al-Saqr, Saudi Arabia's ambassador to Tunisia, and Salah Zouari, Tunisia's Minister of Equipment and Housing.
The project, funded by the Saudi Development Fund, aims to benefit families in the Sousse governorate, located south of Tunis.
This initiative is part of a larger social housing program, which intends to provide a total of 4,715 units through concessional financing worth $150 million from the Saudi Development Fund.
Both officials acknowledged the continued support and solidarity between the two nations, emphasizing the positive impact on low-income communities in Tunisia.
