Saudi Delivery Sector Logs Record 101 Million Orders in Q2 2025
Riyadh region leads with over 45 million orders, while investments in digital infrastructure drive growth.
Saudi Arabia's delivery sector has seen a significant surge in activity during the second quarter of 2025.
According to figures released by the General Transport Authority, the nationwide total for delivery orders reached more than 101 million.
The data underscores the rapid evolution of the logistics industry within the Kingdom.The Riyadh region stands out as the leader in terms of order volume, accounting for over 45.68 million deliveries, which represents approximately 45% of all activity across Saudi Arabia.
Makkah comes second with 21.47 million orders (21%), followed by the Eastern Province with 16.1 million orders (15%).The remaining regions also contributed substantially to the sector's overall performance: Madinah with 4.71 million orders, Asir with 3.61 million orders, Qassim with 2.93 million orders, Tabuk with 1.8 million orders, Hail with 1.65 million orders, Jazan with 1.2 million orders, Al-Jouf with 779,000 orders, Najran with 666,000 orders, Northern Borders with 552,000 orders, and Al-Baha with 215,000 orders.This growth in the delivery sector has been bolstered by improvements in regulatory frameworks that have encouraged logistics companies to enhance service quality and efficiency.
