Saudi Arabia Condemns Israeli Settler Violence in Occupied West Bank
The Kingdom calls for protection of Palestinian civilians and end to Israeli violations.
Riyadh: Saudi Arabia on Friday condemned violent attacks by Israeli settlers against Palestinian civilians in villages within the occupied West Bank.
The escalation of violence has resulted in casualties among Palestinians, with three killed and seven injured during an attack in Kafr Malik near Ramallah, according to Palestinian health officials.
The Foreign Ministry of Saudi Arabia issued a statement denouncing these ongoing assaults carried out under the protection of Israeli occupation forces.
The recent surge in violence against Palestinians coincides with the conflict in Gaza, where over 55,000 fatalities have been recorded since October 2023.
Similarly, within the West Bank, approximately 900 Palestinians have been killed by Israeli forces, and attacks from Israeli settlers have also intensified.
In response to these violations, Saudi Arabia has urged international action to ensure the protection of Palestinian civilians and an end to the breach of international laws and norms by Israel.
