Organizer of Saudi Arabia's Future Investment Initiative Summit Exploring Initial Public Offering
Richard Attias and Associates (RA&A), the organizer behind Saudi Arabia's prominent Future Investment Initiative (FII) summit, is reportedly considering a move into the stock market.
According to a recent report, RA&A is working with financial institutions such as Evercore Inc. on preparing for an initial public offering (IPO) that could materialize as early as next year.
The FII is recognized globally as a pivotal event where international leaders and industry experts converge to explore investment opportunities and address global economic challenges.
The conference serves as a platform for Saudi Arabia's Vision 2030, aiming to establish the Kingdom as an attractive destination for global business by the end of this decade.
RA&A's Chairman and Founder, Richard Attias, shared in an interview with Bloomberg that while he would continue to hold shares even after a potential IPO, he intends to remain as chairman of the board.
No definitive decisions have been made regarding the listing.
Sanabil, part of Saudi Arabia's Public Investment Fund (PIF), currently holds approximately 75% of RA&A, with Attias owning the remaining stake.
His role extends to being the chairman of the executive committee at the FII Institute, a non-profit entity managed by the sovereign wealth fund.
The FII Institute has organized notable events such as its Priority Summit in Miami earlier this year, which featured an address from former US President
Donald Trump.
In his speech, Trump emphasized strategic investments that yield both financial success and long-term societal impact.
The 2024 edition of the FII conference in Riyadh attracted over 500 speakers and facilitated more than 200 sessions across plenary discussions, breakouts, and conclaves, tackling issues such as economic stability, geopolitical tensions, and equitable development.
Since its inception in 2017, the FII Institute has solidified its position as a leading financial sector event.
RA&A itself was founded in 2008 and now employs over 100 professionals globally, offering ideas, connections, and platforms to assist clients including corporations, governments, NGOs, and nonprofits, as per its LinkedIn profile.
