In comments at a Tuesday session of the Administration’s Economic Coordination Headquarters, Rouhani said his cabinet has adopted plans to exploit the country’s economic capacities and mechanisms under the current special circumstances.

The administration’s main economic priorities include plans to supply the basic commodities as well as raw materials for factories and also counter the cruel sanctions that the enemies have imposed with the purpose of crippling Iran’s economy and production, he said.

The president also ordered the Iranian organizations in charge of supplying commodities and medicine to avoid imposing any restriction on public access to the necessary goods.

On Sunday, Rouhani said his administration has thwarted the US’ plot to cause economic collapse in Iran despite the currency crunch and intensified sanctions over the past two and a half years.
