Over two hundred sixty-seven thousand, six hundred fifty-seven pilgrims have arrived in Saudi Arabia for the annual Hajj pilgrimage. They traveled via air, sea, and land, with most arriving by air. The influx began on May 9, supported by advanced online platforms and multilingual staff to ease the entry process.
As of Sunday, 267,657 pilgrims have arrived in Saudi Arabia from various countries for the annual Hajj pilgrimage.
The General Directorate of Passports (Jawazat) reported that this includes arrivals by air, sea, and land, with the majority traveling by air.
To facilitate the entry process, Jawazat has enhanced its online platforms with advanced technology and multilingual staff at all international ports.
The influx of pilgrims began on Dhul Qada 1 (May 9), and thousands of pilgrims continue to arrive daily in Makkah and Madinah, aided by a comprehensive support system for a seamless pilgrimage experience.
