Over 25,000 vaccines were administrated over 4 days of immunization in circuit 8-7

For people who could not attend the day on 8-7, a call will be made shortly to enable new vaccination centers.
This Saturday, April 24, the vaccination process aimed at adults over 60 years of age, pregnant women and teachers was completed, this was announced by the director of the Metropolitan Health Region, Israel Cedeño, who estimates that more than 25 thousand vaccines were placed in 4 days of immunization, which included 14 educational centers.

Cedeño said that an exhaustive search was carried out for the elderly to attend the vaccination process, with the support of the community boards.

He added for the people who could not attend in the 4 days, "soon there will be a call to enable new vaccination centers, but at the moment there is no date for this process."

The doctor pointed out that “local pain, general malaise, fever, headache have been some of the common adverse reactions presented during the four days of vaccination. For this, vaccinated people are advised to rest and avoid touching the arm where they are put the vaccine".

In circuit 8-7, teachers and pregnant women were also vaccinated, and lactating mothers were included after 6 weeks after having their child, who are required to "have a medical certificate that specifies the name and identification of the mother "said the Ministry of Health (Minsa) in a statement .

On the AstraZeneca vaccination process, Cedeño stated that the programmed estimate of a thousand people per day is being met.

It should be noted that the Minsa "has not reported any person who has rejected the AstraZeneca vaccine after having scheduled the appointment, in the same way there has been no adverse reaction after having administered this vaccine."
