Madinah Buses project operated with a fleet of nearly 200 modern buses

The Al-Madinah Region Development Authority has launched the frequent and public transportation service within (Madinah Buses) project, with a fleet of nearly 200 modern buses.
The transportation services target is to transport individuals to the Prophet's Mosque, Quba Mosque, and to several stations in Madinah during the holy month of Ramadan.

Seven tracks have been set to provide the frequent transportation to transport beneficiaries from and to the Prophet's Mosque and Quba Mosque, starting from 3:00 p.m., until an hour after the Taraweeh prayer.

The service will be provided in the 10 last days of Ramadan until half an hour after the Qiyam Al-Layl prayers.

Moreover, the service has been specified to be in 6 different locations to transport the beneficiaries, back and forth. They are from the sports stadium, Durrat AlMadinah, Sayyid Al-Shuhada, Islamic University of Madinah, Al Khalidiyyah, Shtayyeh neighborhood.

It has specified the 7th location to be in the cars parking of Aliat mall, to transport the beneficiaries to Quba Mosque, back and forth.

The authority has called on all beneficiaries to follow up on stop stations of the frequent transportation services.

Regarding public transportation, the authority has set 98 stations to provide the public transportation within the Madinah buses project during Ramadan, which is specified via 5 tracks.

The first track is the Haramain train — Prophet's Mosque, which includes 3 stations operating throughout the day to provide the service along the track, and also the Prince Mohammed Bin Abdulaziz International Airport track — Prophet's Mosque, which includes 2 stations offering the service throughout the day.

Additionally, the Taibah University — Aliat Mall, which includes 34 station operating from 3:00 a.m., until 3:00 p.m., as well as the Miqat — Al Khalidiyyah track that includes 38 station, and working from 3:00 a.m. until 3:00 p.m., while the fifth track is the Qaswaa — Sayyid Al-Shuhada track, which includes 21 station operating from 3:00 a.m. until 3:00 p.m.
