Kuwait Constitutional Court Upholds Election Void, Clearing the Way for June 6 Legislative Elections
The Kuwait Constitutional Court has upheld a ruling that the September 2022 parliamentary election was void, clearing the way for the June 6 legislative elections to proceed.
The head of the court, Fouad Al-Zuwaid, stated that the appeal filed by members of the dissolved parliament was rejected.
The court's decision follows the dissolution of the parliament in March and May 2022, which was aimed at ending political feuding in the country.
