Kingdom's Consulate in Sydney follows up on death of two Saudi sisters in Australia
The Saudi Consulate in Sydney announced that it was following up with the Australian authorities on the circumstances that led to the death of two Saudi women in the city.
The consulate has asked the Australian authorities to make available the results of the investigation into the deaths as quickly as possible, the Saudi mission said in a statement on Twitter.
The Consulate said that it was notified by the Australian Ministry of Foreign Affairs and Trade about the death of the Saudi siblings at their residence in Sydney.
The Consulate immediately contacted the concerned Australian authorities to find out the circumstances of the unfortunate incident, the consulate statement said. “We will continue to follow up the case with the relevant Australian authorities,” it added.
The Consulate also offered sincere condolences and sympathy to the bereaved family.
