King Salman appoints Majid Al-Fayyad as advisor to the Saudi Royal Court
Majid Al-Fayyad, executive general supervisor at King Faisal Specialist Hospital, is appointed as an advisor to the Saudi Royal Court.
In a royal order issued on Wednesday, King Salman of Saudi Arabia appointed Majid Al-Fayyad as an advisor to the Saudi Royal Court.
Al-Fayyad, who currently serves as the executive general supervisor at King Faisal Specialist Hospital and Research Centre, has extensive experience in clinical, academic, and administrative roles within the healthcare sector.Al-Fayyad graduated from King Saud University's medical school in 1990 and later undertook specialized training in pediatrics at Tufts University in the United States, as well as pediatric cardiology at Columbia University.
His qualifications also include a master's degree in medical administration from the University of Southern California awarded in 2015.In his current position at King Faisal Specialist Hospital, which has facilities in Riyadh, Madinah, and Jeddah, Al-Fayyad has played a significant role in leading reforms within Saudi Arabia's healthcare sector.
He has been involved in various national healthcare committees and initiatives, earning recognition for his contributions to research and administration.Al-Fayyad's appointment as an advisor to the Royal Court highlights the ongoing efforts of the Saudi government to enhance its healthcare system and align it with broader strategic objectives.
