Hong Kong has recorded five new confirmed Covid-19 cases – one local and four imported – bringing the tally to 11,613 cases, according to the Centre for Health Protection.
Among the five patients were three men and two women, aged between two to 70 years.
The Centre for Health Protection said the one local case today was linked to previous local infections. The patient is a 70-year-old man who lives in Block 3 Oi Fai House of Yau Oi Estate in Tuen Mun.
The four imported cases were two returnees from Pakistan and the other two from Indai and Egypt.
A total of 146
coronavirus patients have been recorded in the 14 days from March 31 to April 13, including 30 locals. The source of infection of nine of the 30 locals is not known, the CHP reported.
