The Ministry of Hajj and Umrah issued guidelines for Hajj pilgrims to follow before and upon arrival in Saudi Arabia.
These include carrying all official documents, being careful with electronic devices, ensuring that luggage meets approved sizes and has distinctive marks, and declaring any cash or valuable items in excess of SR60,000.
Filling out a customs declaration is also required for those carrying goods with a value greater than SR3,000, as well as those carrying prohibited items or subject to excise tax.
Failure to comply with these guidelines may result in consequences.
