Egypt's President Extends Greetings to UN on Its Annual Day
On the occasion of the United Nations Day, Egypt’s President Abdel Fattah El-Sisi extended his greetings by sending his Presidential Secretary, Abdel Aziz El Sheif, to the coordination office of the United Nations in Cairo.
The United Nations Day is celebrated every year on October 24th, commemorating the day in 1945 when the UN Charter came into force. The Charter, signed on 26 June 1945, outlines the rights and obligations of member states and defines the main organizational procedures of the United Nations.
