During the meeting, the Council was briefed on a number of reports, presentations and issues on its agenda, including a presentation submitted by the Ministry of Economy and Planning on the quarterly economic report. The presentation included the most important developments of the national economy including future expectations, viewpoints and recommendations, as well as the state of the global economy.

The Council discussed the presentation submitted by the Ministry of Finance on the quarterly report on the performance of the State's general budget for the fiscal year 2022.

It also reviewed the presentation submitted by the National Center for Public Agencies Performance Measurement regarding the quarterly report on the performance of governmental bodies.

The presentation included views on the performance index, the situation of the public agencies initiatives, the results of assessing Umrah season during Ramadan 1443 H. as well as the most prominent recommendations.

The Council also reviewed the presentation submitted by the National Center for Wastes Management and Recycling to transform the wastes administration sector towards adopting the circular economy. The periodic report submitted by the Ministry of Health regarding the latest developments associated with the COVID-19 pandemic was also presented.

The Council took the necessary recommendations toward those issues.
