The UAE-based defense and technology firm EDGE Group and India's Adani Defence and Aerospace have entered a comprehensive cooperation agreement.
This partnership will focus on cyber warfare, drone technologies, missile systems, and both traditional and smart weapons.
The agreement aims to establish joint research and development facilities, alongside production and maintenance hubs in both nations.
EDGE Group’s CEO Hamad Al-Marar emphasized the deal's role in strengthening UAE-India defense ties and advancing military technologies.
Similarly, Adani Defence CEO Ashish Rajvanshi highlighted the collaboration's potential to elevate defense capabilities and reach new technological standards.
This collaboration adds to the growing economic relationship between the UAE and India, exemplified by a significant trade boost since the 2022 Comprehensive Economic Partnership Agreement.
