Tragedy on Mediterranean Coast: Young Child from Cameroon Found Dead after Migrant Boats Sink
A young child from Cameroon was found dead on the coast of Sfax, Tunisia after two vessels carrying migrants sank in the Mediterranean, according to a journalist who was accompanying the coast guard during a patrol.
The child was wearing a pink jumpsuit and a grey woollen cap.
It is unclear which boat the child was on or if their mother is among the missing.
Local court spokesman Faouzi Masmoudi said that 200 Cameroonians had been rescued in the last two days.
