Taif University reverses previous decision against faculty member following court order
Taif University has revoked a decision that it took two years ago against a faculty member following an order of the Administrative Court in the Makkah region.
The university’s response came in a letter from its president to execute the judicial ruling by reversing its previous decision against the faculty member.
Two months ago, the Administrative Court in Makkah quashed the decision of the university on a petition filed two years ago by the faculty member, who pleaded that the university’s disciplinary action against him lacked integrity and honesty.
The court ruled that the university’s action against the faculty member was defective in its form and procedures. The court cited a number of factors in this regard including the failure of the university authorities to summon him to investigate the violations charged against him.
