Hajj 2023 Preparations: Last Date for Umrah Permits Issued is June 15.
RIYADH, SAUDI ARABIA - The Ministry of Hajj and Umrah has announced that Sunday, 15 Dhu Al-Qaadah, corresponds to June 4, 2023, is the last date on which pilgrims can issue Umrah permits.
This suspension of the issuance of Umrah permits is in preparation for the upcoming Hajj season.
Umrah permits do not allow pilgrims to perform the rituals of Hajj.
The Ministry advised pilgrims to be cautious when making reservations, warning against dealing with fake Hajj campaigns.
The Ministry also urged pilgrims to only register through approved platforms.
Pilgrims from inside Saudi Arabia can register through the LocalHaj.Haj.Gov.Sa website and the Nusuk app.
For pilgrims from Europe, the Americas, and Australia, reservations can only be made through Hajj.Nusuk.Sa. Pilgrims from Islamic countries can register through the Hajj affairs offices responsible for registering pilgrims in their countries.
It is important to note that the last date for Umrah pilgrims to depart is on June 18, 2023.
The Ministry called on everyone to be careful when making their reservations and to avoid dealing with fake Hajj campaigns.
