Sultan Ibrahim of Malaysia Bids Farewell to Hajj Pilgrims Departing under Saudi Arabia's Makkah Route Initiative
On Sunday, Sultan Ibrahim of Malaysia, in the presence of Musaed Al-Saleem, the Saudi Ambassador to Malaysia, bid farewell to a group of Malaysian pilgrims who were about to embark on their journey to Saudi Arabia to perform the Hajj pilgrimage under the Makkah Route Initiative.
During the event, Musaed Al-Saleem briefed Sultan Ibrahim about the Makkah Route Initiative, explaining how it simplifies travel procedures for pilgrims.
The King of Malaysia expressed his gratitude for the exceptional services provided by Saudi Arabia to the pilgrims.
The Makkah Route Initiative, launched in 2017 in collaboration between the Saudi Ministry of Interior and various Saudi agencies, aims to improve the Hajj journey experience for pilgrims by streamlining travel procedures.
Sultan Ibrahim's presence at the event underscores the strong diplomatic ties between Malaysia and Saudi Arabia, as well as the commitment of both countries to facilitating the smooth and efficient Hajj pilgrimage for Malaysian citizens.
