Sultan Al-Marshad Receives 'Hilal-i-Quaid-i-Azam' Medal for Saudi Fund's Development Contributions in Pakistan
During his visit to Pakistan, Sultan Al-Marshad, the CEO of the Saudi Fund for Development (SFD), was bestowed with the prestigious 'Hilal-i-Quaid-i-Azam' medal by Pakistan's President Asif Ali Zardari.
This honor was in recognition of SFD's significant contributions towards promoting and financing development projects and programs in Pakistan, particularly in vital sectors.
The medal was presented to Al-Marshad during the signing ceremony of two development loan agreements worth $101 million between the SFD and Pakistan's Ministry of Economic Affairs.
These agreements are part of the SFD's ongoing efforts to support and promote the clean energy sector in Pakistan.
The close development relations between Pakistan and Saudi Arabia, which span over 48 years, provided the framework for this honor.
Al-Marshad also had the opportunity to meet with Pakistan's Prime Minister Muhammad Shehbaz Sharif during his visit.
