Severe Weather Alert Issued for Most Regions of Saudi Arabia
The National Center of Meteorology has issued a warning of severe weather fluctuations in most regions of Saudi Arabia from Friday until Tuesday.
These regions include Asir, Al-Baha, Makkah, Jazan, Tabuk, Al-Jouf and the Northern Borders.
There is a chance for moderate to heavy thunderstorms with hail and active winds, as well as torrential rain.
The severity of the weather conditions is expected to increase from Sunday until Tuesday.
Riyadh, Al-Qassim, Hail, Najran, and parts of Makkah and Madinah will also experience thunderstorms, with downward winds raising dust.
The severity will increase on Monday and Tuesday.
