Saudi, Uzbek Ministers Discuss Expanding Cultural Cooperation

Riyadh: Minister of Culture Prince Badr bin Abdullah bin Farhan met with Uzbekistan's Minister of Culture, Ozodbek Nazarbekov, on Tuesday, during the 43rd UNESCO General Conference in Samarkand.
Prince Badr congratulated Uzbekistan for hosting the conference and acknowledged its active role in global cultural exchanges.
He also praised Uzbekistan’s participation in the Riyadh International Book Fair, highlighting the country's diverse craftsmanship and creative expressions.Both ministers expressed their commitment to enhancing cooperation in areas such as cultural exchange, heritage preservation, and the creative industries.
They noted the successful collaboration between the Diriyah Biennale Foundation and the Bukhara Biennale of Contemporary Art, which featured the Diriyah Biennale’s Al-Musalla Prize-winning design.Prince Badr expressed gratitude to the Uzbek government for its hospitality and wished continued cultural growth and prosperity for the country.
This meeting represents a significant step towards bolstering cultural ties between Saudi Arabia and Uzbekistan.
