Saudi Students to Participate in International Science and Engineering Fair in the US
Nine students from Eastern Province selected for prestigious competition following a national qualification process.
In a notable achievement, nine students from schools in the Eastern Province of Saudi Arabia have secured their positions on the Saudi Science and Engineering Team, poised to compete in the International Science and Engineering Fair (ISEF) in the United States.
This accomplishment was announced by the Saudi Press Agency and follows a comprehensive qualification process that took place in Riyadh.
The selection of these students was the culmination of a rigorous four-stage competition, which included project submissions, electronic arbitration, and regional exhibitions prior to the final national event.
Sami Al-Otaibi, the director general of education in the Eastern Province, commended the students’ success, describing it as a reflection of the ongoing investment in youth and education within the Kingdom.
He emphasized that this achievement aligns with the broader objectives of Saudi Arabia’s Vision 2030 reform program, which aims to empower students and enhance their role in contributing to the nation’s future.
This international recognition underscores the commitment to fostering innovation and scientific inquiry among Saudi youth.
