Saudi Pavilion Reports High Visitor Turnout at Cairo International Book Fair 2025
The Literature, Publishing and Translation Commission concluded its participation in the fair held from January 23 to February 5, 2025, supported by multiple government agencies.
Saudi Arabia’s Literature, Publishing and Translation Commission concluded its participation in the Cairo International Book Fair 2025, held in Cairo, Egypt, from January 23 to February 5, 2025. The Saudi pavilion attracted a large number of visitors while showcasing a range of programs and initiatives aimed at developing the Kingdom’s publishing and translation sectors.
Dr. Abdul Latif Al-Wasil, CEO of the Commission, stated that the participation is part of ongoing efforts to strengthen Saudi Arabia’s cultural and literary presence both regionally and internationally and to raise awareness of the Kingdom’s heritage.
The initiative involved the participation of ten government agencies, including the Ministry of Islamic Affairs, Call and Guidance, King Salman International Academy for the Arabic Language, the Saudi Cultural Attaché in Egypt, the King Abdulaziz Public Library, King Fahd National Library, Princess Noura bint Abdulrahman University, Prince Sattam University, Tabuk University, Hafr Al-Batin University, and the Publishing Association.
The fair is recognized as a leading international platform that brings together prominent publishers and cultural figures from around the world.
