Saudi parliament delegation meets several Swedish officials in Stockholm
The Shoura Council's delegation, headed by assistant to the speaker of the Shoura Council Dr. Hanan Al-Ahmadi, has held a meeting with Jan Knutsson, state secretary for foreign affairs of the Kingdom of Sweden, at the beginning of the delegation's official visit to Stockholm.
During the meeting, the two sides discussed bilateral relations in various fields and ways to strengthen them, emphasizing the importance of consolidating parliamentary relations between the Shoura Council and the Swedish Parliament.
The discussion helped enhance bilateral relations between the two countries and friendly peoples. Furthermore, the meeting covered various topics of mutual interest between the two countries.
The delegation also met with Hakan Jevrell, Swedish state secretary to minister for international development cooperation and foreign trade. The two sides discussed several issues relating to trade cooperation between Saudi Arabia and Sweden and the means to enhance future cooperation.
The meeting also covered Saudi Arabia's economic success under Vision 2030, the objectives in economy and investment, and Saudi Arabia's ongoing economic reforms. The two sides discussed the efforts made by Saudi Arabia to improve the investment environment in the country. Issues of common interest to both countries were also discussed.
