Saudi Non-Oil Exports Exceed SAR206 Billion in 2023
Saudi Arabia’s non-oil commodity exports exceeded two hundred six billion riyals in 2023, as reported by the National Industrial Development and Logistics Program. Significant contributions to the GDP include a workforce of over two hundred four thousand, and a seventy-four percent growth in exports. Key projects spanned energy, mining, industry, and logistics, supporting the Kingdom’s Vision 2030 goals.
The National Industrial Development and Logistics Program (NIDLP) reported that Saudi Arabia’s non-oil commodity exports surpassed SAR206 billion in 2023.
NIDLP's annual report, titled 'Renewed Horizons,' highlights the initiation of 283 projects, with 102 completed.
These efforts contributed over SAR345 billion to the GDP, supporting Vision 2030 goals. NIDLP's workforce reached 204,000, including 82,000 Saudis.
The program’s contributions amount to more than 35% of the GDP, with a 74% growth in non-oil exports.
Key achievements include launching six solar energy projects, completing 30% of the Arabian Shield Geological Survey, and initiating four new special economic zones.
In logistics, the Kingdom launched a general plan to transform into a global logistics hub.
Crown Prince Mohammed bin Salman announced the establishment of CEER for electric vehicles, and agreements were made with Lucid Motors and Hyundai.
Established in 2019, NIDLP focuses on energy, mining, industry, and logistics sectors to position Saudi Arabia as a leading industrial power.
