Saudi National Day Theme Unveiled: 'Pride in Our Nature'

The theme and visual identity for Saudi Arabia's 95th National Day emphasize national traits, culture and history.

JEDDAH: The official theme and visual identity for the upcoming 95th Saudi National Day on Sept. 23 have been unveiled under the slogan "Pride in Our Nature." Turki Alalshikh, chairman of the General Entertainment Authority and the Saudi Boxing Federation, announced the new design on his X account.

This year's identity reflects the character, values, and ambitions that define Saudi Arabia. The theme celebrates qualities such as generosity, authenticity, ambition, kindness, and solidarity among Saudis. The visual identity includes six main illustrations representing distinct national traits inspired by Saudi culture and history.

Generosity is symbolized by a dallah (traditional coffee pot) and finjan (coffee cup), highlighting the country's hospitality. Authenticity is emphasized through elements of Saudi heritage and tradition. Ambition, represented by Tuwaiq Mountain, underscores national resilience and spirit, drawing on Crown Prince Mohammed bin Salman's quote about Saudi ambition.

Faz'ah, depicted as crossed hands, symbolizes solidarity and mutual support inspired by the crown prince's gesture. Vision 2030 is incorporated into the design to represent future-focused development plans. Hospitality reflects the Kingdom's commitment to philanthropy and supporting others.

The official logo features geometric typography combined with patterns inspired by traditional Saudi weaving techniques. The phrase "Pride in Our Nature" uses bold, block-like forms for a modern expression of heritage and national pride. The logo design is protected from alteration or manipulation.

A custom typeface has been developed to complement the identity, available in various font weights for use across official applications. The package includes ready-to-use visual assets such as images of Saudi leadership, National Day logos, advertisement templates, product applications, and digital resources downloadable at https://nd.gea.gov.sa.

To promote online unity on this occasion, the approved hashtag is #SaudiNationalDay95.
