Saudi Minister of Municipal and Rural Affairs and Housing Embarks on Official Visit to Morocco
Saudi Arabia's Housing Minister Majid Al-Hogail began a 3-day trip to Morocco to strengthen ties between the kingdoms and share successful strategies in urban development and real estate.
From Nov 28-30, Al-Hogail will discuss cooperation in city infrastructure and sustainable growth. His visit opened with discussions with Morocco's Energy Minister Leila Benali and was attended by Saudi Ambassador Abdullah Al-Ghurairi.
Al-Hogail praised the long-standing relationship between Saudi Arabia and Morocco, aiming to boost joint efforts in municipal and housing projects. He highlighted Saudi Arabia's progress across various sectors, driven by initiatives to accomplish Vision 2030's goals—a government plan to diversify the economy and develop public services.
He emphasized the support the Saudi municipal and housing sectors receive, focusing on providing quality housing and living standards. Al-Hogail also met with Moroccan Minister of Equipment and Water Nizar Baraka to explore collaborative opportunities in city infrastructure.
The visit will include meetings with Moroccan officials and business leaders to learn from local projects and highlight Saudi investment opportunities as part of its economic and development growth.
