Saudi General Entertainment Authority Launches 'Entertainment Innovations' Program

Riyadh, Saudi Arabia - The General Entertainment Authority has unveiled the "Entertainment Innovations" program to foster creativity and drive innovation within Saudi Arabia's entertainment industry.
The initiative seeks to enhance the sector's growth and global competitiveness by nurturing talent and entrepreneurial ventures.
As reported by the Saudi Press Agency on Tuesday, registration for the program is now open, with over 100 participants set to form diverse teams supported by mentors and industry experts.The "Entertainment Innovations" program encompasses several key phases, beginning with online registration through the authority's official website.
Subsequently, a screening process will select participants for a virtual bootcamp, culminating in a three-day challenge where final presentations before judges will determine winners.
Winners of the competition will be recognized and honored.The program places significant emphasis on developing business models, brand identity, prototypes, and go-to-market strategies, ensuring that creative ideas are transformed into sustainable projects aligned with the Kingdom's entertainment development objectives.
Additionally, it aims to foster collaboration among creators, investors, and experts in the sector.
The initiative targets three primary objectives: promoting innovation within the entertainment industry, attracting specialized talent in technology, design, and entrepreneurship, as well as expanding the pool of young creatives within the sector.A total prize pool of SR300,000 ($80,000) along with support packages worth more than $1 million will be distributed among the top three winners.
This generous compensation underscores the authority's commitment to investing in innovative ideas and fostering a thriving entertainment industry in Saudi Arabia.
