Saudi authorities’ inspections reveal law violations
Authorities in the Kingdom’s Eastern Province have carried out field visits to buildings under construction in Al-Khafji Governorate, and found laws were being violated at 26 locations.
The visits, to ensure that municipal requirements and procedures are applied, looked at 87 buildings under construction, and 26 were found to be infringing laws in some way.
These violations included sites being without construction covers, waste being found, absence of signage on building sites disclosing information about the owners, and the mixing of materials on the asphalt and sidewalks.
The visits are part of authorities’ efforts to ensure that municipal procedures are implemented at building sites, and to help improve the urban landscape.
