Saudi Arabia stocks lower at close of trade; Tadawul All Share down 0.68%
Saudi Arabia stocks were lower after the close on Tuesday, as losses in the Cement, Petrochemicals and Retail sectors led shares lower.
At the close in Saudi Arabia, the Tadawul All Share lost 0.68%.
The best performers of the session on the Tadawul All Share were Etihad Etisalat Co (SE:7020), which rose 4.48% or 1.65 points to trade at 38.45 at the close. Meanwhile, Amana Cooperative Insurance Co (SE:8310) added 4.15% or 1.25 points to end at 31.40 and Saudi Enaya Cooperative Insurance (SE:8311) was up 3.99% or 1.05 points to 27.35 in late trade.
The worst performers of the session were Saudi Arabian Mining Company (SE:1211), which fell 6.88% or 8.20 points to trade at 111.00 at the close. Anaam International Holding Group (SE:4061) declined 3.54% or 2.90 points to end at 79.10 and Arabia Insurance Cooperative Co (SE:8160) was down 3.13% or 1.10 points to 34.00.
Falling stocks outnumbered advancing ones on the Saudi Arabia Stock Exchange by 131 to 86 and 13 ended unchanged.
Shares in Etihad Etisalat Co (SE:7020) rose to 5-year highs; gaining 4.48% or 1.65 to 38.45.
Crude oil for April delivery was down 8.38% or 8.63 to $94.38 a barrel. Elsewhere in commodities trading, Brent oil for delivery in May fell 7.86% or 8.40 to hit $98.50 a barrel, while the April Gold Futures contract fell 2.40% or 47.10 to trade at $1,913.70 a troy ounce.
EUR/SAR was up 0.50% to 4.12, while USD/SAR unchanged 0.00% to 3.75.
The US Dollar Index Futures was down 0.33% at 98.69.
