The Saudi Ministry of Human Resources and Social Development has announced a revision to the wage protection rule, reducing the period for establishments to upload wage protection files on the Mudad platform from 60 to 30 days, effective March 1. The change follows a study showing that 91 percent of establishments were already complying with the 30-day upload timeframe.

The ministry aims to improve accuracy, ensure timely wage payments, and strengthen trust in the work environment.

Establishments are encouraged to meet the new requirement and review Payroll Management System details to maintain compliance and protect workers’ rights.
