Saudi Arabia's Minister of Economy and Planning Faisal Al-Ibrahim Discusses SDGs and Cooperation with UN, OPEC Fund, and Austrian Minister in Vienna
On Monday, in Vienna, Austria, Saudi Arabia's Minister of Economy and Planning, Faisal Al-Ibrahim, held discussions with Ghada Waly, the Executive Director of the UN Office in Vienna.
The two leaders explored potential collaboration between the Kingdom and the UN, focusing on the Sustainable Development Goals and other areas of mutual interest.
The meeting took place during Al-Ibrahim's visit to Austria for the ninth session of the Saudi-Austrian Joint Committee.
In addition to his engagement with the UN, the minister also met with Abdulhamid Alkhalifa, the president of the OPEC Fund for International Development, to discuss the fund's upcoming initiatives.
Furthermore, Al-Ibrahim held talks with Austria's Minister of Labor and Economy, Martin Kocher, to strengthen trade and economic cooperation between the two countries and discuss recent developments of mutual concern.
The meetings were attended by the Kingdom's Ambassador to Austria, Abdullah Tawlah.
