Saudi Arabia's Entertainment Sector Booms: New Parks in Riyadh, 4,000 Companies, 150,000 Jobs, and $23B Investment by 2030
Saudi Arabia is set to open new entertainment and aquatic parks, with the first one in Riyadh scheduled to open in 2025.
The Ministry of Investment is partnering with Nowaar Entertainment to develop these parks across the country.
The entertainment sector in Saudi Arabia has experienced significant growth since the launch of Vision 2030, with over 4,000 companies now operating in the industry compared to fewer than 10 previously.
This growth has led to the creation of over 150,000 local jobs since 2016.
Bafarat, a Saudi organization, emphasized the importance of competitive business sectors to introduce innovative entertainment options in the Kingdom, attracting increased investment.
Reports also highlighted their focus on catering to diverse needs of people.
During the Seventh Ministerial Meeting of the Saudi-Japan Vision 2030 in December 2023, MISA signed 13 agreements with Japanese entities and companies, as chaired by Saudi and Japanese ministers and vice-ministers.
