Saudi Arabia's Climate Envoy Holds Bilateral Talks on Climate and Environment at Ocean Action Event in Costa Rica
Saudi Arabia's climate envoy and foreign affairs minister, Adel Al-Jubeir, met with various officials during an oceans high-level event in San Jose, Costa Rica.
He held separate discussions with Brazil's Carlos Márcio Bicalho Cozendey, Ecuador's Sade Fritschi, France's Herve Berville, Spain's Hugo Moran, and Qatar's Abdullah Al-Subaie.
High-level meetings focused on climate and environment, shared interests, and bilateral relations.
A preparatory event, Ocean Action: Immersed in Change, was held for the 3rd UN Ocean Conference in 2025.
Discussions covered the ocean's carbon dioxide absorption capacity, sustainable fishing, and marine pollution reduction.
